Given enough time, even the roughest edges and the most acute angles will soften ... and so will the sharpest points of contention among us. We are more alike than we know, or care to admit.
Waiting in the church parking lot, just before eight o'clock tonight, while Elder Son wrapped-up confirmation class. Mild temperature, peaceful ... all in all, a good evening. Then I was startled by the sounds coming from behind - and just above - me. A small 'V' of Canada Geese, having just taken off from the A Street duck pond a few blocks to the north. A wonderful sight and sound as they passed over the roof and the church, perhaps headed for some of the wetlands just south of town to spend the night.

Great shot!
Thanks, Sis ... right place, right time. Looks like they;re heading away from P-A ... but they'll be back there in a few months.
