I Have the POWERRRRR! .....

We began our stint as a Nielsen Media Research (television ratings) family this morning ..... now you know who to blame, next season, when the new television programming lineups are announced.

Interesting, Jeff. I've considered participating before but tilt toward the lazy side of the boat. Do you use a DVR? I know Nielsen is starting to survey time-shifting consumers so it'll be interesting to see results as time-shifting becomes more prevalent. Oh yeah, one more question... will you be wearing a tinfoil hat while watching so they don't monitor your private thoughts, too? :)

Les, thanks for stopping-in! No, we don't use DVR, or any other recording devise, for that matter. We have a VHS recorder/player - just never get around to using it.

It just doesn't seem as necessary to record-for-later-viewing, as it used to be ..... so many networks/channels automatically repeat their prometime programming later in the evening, or later in the week.

Of course, they don't call it 'Reapeats,' but 'Encore Broadcasts.'

I don't bother with the tin foil hats ..... anyone who looks into my thoughts gets exactly what they deserve!
